In partnership with Nemeth Counseling and Consultation, we invite you to attend our free virtual Zoom Continuing Education Course on July 24, 2020 — Ethical Telehealth Practice.
This course will cover the ethics involved in confidentiality, working with minors, dual relationships, social media, and in general practice, with an emphasis on how to ethically practice in a socially distanced world through telehealth platforms.Goals and Learning Objectives:
- Understanding confidentiality and limits
- Record keeping rules
- Working with minors in an ethical manner
- Multiple/Dual Relationships and how to navigate possible ethical dilemmas

Jon Lucas is licensed by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapy Board as an Independently Licensed Social Worker with a Supervisory designation. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work at Bluffton University in Bluffton, OH and his Master’s Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University.
Jon specializes in working with and helping individuals who have experienced trauma to overcome symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and grief. He also has experience working with parents to assist them in developing effective parenting techniques and strengthening the parent-child bond.
This CE will take place virtually via the Zoom app. Once all attendees have registered, we will email a meeting link.
